One piece three ways: FAE

We have three fashionistas showing us how to put together an item from a designers collection

While trends fade, style remains eternal and one piece can be put together in many different ways. In this feature we have three fashionistas showing us how to put together an item from a designers collection, according to their own individual style and taste!

FAE’s ‘Evelyn’ top is the perfect go-to whether it’s day or night. It’s cotton-silk fabric and lace embellished neckline drapes softly. The adjustable bow wraps around the waistline further defining the look. ‘Evelyn’ can be styled in so many different ways depending on your mood, occasion and style!

My style is casual-chic. I like to keep things minimal but add one statement piece. I decided to style this beautiful FAE top with a monochrome pencil skirt from Zara for an elegant look. For my accessories, I opted for beautiful black and gold Prerto earrings along with a blue box-clutch from BCBG. For my hair and make-up, I went for a voluminous blow-dry with black winged eyeliner and my favourite lip colour, ‘Lolita’ by Kat Von D. I would wear this outfit to a nice dinner or even a formal day brunch.

Generally, my style is pretty casual and minimal. I like dressing up, but I like clean cuts and prefer to let the accessories do the talking. For this look I chose to keep it very daytime-chic, hence a pair of jeans and heels were perfect. I kept my hair straight and did light make-up with a bright lip colour. I wore strappy Charles and Keith shoes, super-fun Prerto earrings that added some colour to the outfit, and carried a wooden Zsiska clutch.

When it comes to fashion, I’m definitely a chameleon. I love experimenting with various styles instead of always sticking to one! I chose a classy-chic look for this top by pairing it with white silk pants. For my hair I had loose curls tied up in a messy, man-bun with minimal make-up. The classic Bottega Veneta clutch and patent black Christian Louboutin heels maintained the elegance of the ensemble. I paired my outfit with chunky earrings by Rosantica and a simple white bracelet.
