Adnan Siddiqui, Sajal Ali in Bangkok to complete final leg of 'Mom'

Film marks Bollywood debut of both Pakistani actors

Pakistani stars Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Ali are all set to shoot the final leg of their upcoming Bollywood debut, Mom, which also stars Bollywood veteran actor Sridevi, in Bangkok.

Due to the unofficial ban and safety concerns, the final scenes of Boney Kapoor's production are moved to Bangkok, reported Bollywood Hungama. 

To confirm the news, Adnan took to Instagram to express his gratitude for being associated with the cast and crew of a 'fantastic project.'



He posted: "Boarding a flight to Bangkok as I approach the last spell of #Mom. It has been a fantastic project to be associated with & to be able to act my heart out is something I will surely miss."

He also expressed his hope for the betterment of relations between the neighbouring countries. "Every passing day I wish better relations between Pakistan & its neighbours in order to achieve a region of peace, a region with no place for terrorism & a region which only speaks the language of love."

Boarding a flight on the day when Pakistan welcomed international cricket back, the actor reiterated his joy: "While I get my boarding pass in order, my fellow countrymen are busy watching the final of #PSL happening in Lahore & I am absolutely enjoying the energy on my social feeds. This is a beautiful moment for a country which is madly in love with cricket."

He went on to say, "The residents of Lahore have paid a high price for this match to happen; so firstly, thank you Lahoris for letting us have our moment."

"Now, to all the respected institutions who have put in immense efforts ensuring security, this couldn't have been possible without you!" he wrote, lauding the security teams lined up for the final.



He concluded his post on a heartfelt wish and a shout out to Peshawar Zalmi for winning the tournament. "I wish our nation gets to enjoy more of international cricket & that too more often. I would like to congratulate Peshawar Zalmi for a super performance & a very well deserved 'Champion' title! #missingout #mom #psl #pakistan#adnansiddiqui"

Sajal, Adnan and Sridevi starrer also showcase Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshay Khanna in pivotal roles.

Mom is slated to release later this year.
