Teaching staff: Court orders regularision of faculty at KIU
The Karakoram International University regularises the services of 23 lecturers serving on contract basis.

The Karakoram International University regularised the services of 23 lecturers serving on contract basis at different faculties with immediate effect, an official of the university said.
The Chief Court had ordered to bring the services of these lecturers on permanent basis and the same decision was upheld by the apex court of Gilgit-Baltistan. The official sources said, in light of the decision, vice chancellor of the university called a meeting of Selection Board which recommended implementing the orders of the court and regularising the services of these lectures.
