There really is no stopping Gigi Hadid from taking over the world.
The 21-year-old supermodel has just added another feather to her cap - after gracing the first issue of Vogue Arabia. According to Vanity Fair, the two black and white images show Gigi wearing a beaded headscarf for the two different covers of the nascent magazine’s first issue.

Gigi, whose father Mohamed Hadid is Palestinian – spoke of her big achievement and the importance of Vogue Arabia on her official Instagram page. “I think the beautiful thing about there being international Vogues is that, as a fashion community, we are able to celebrate and share different cultures with the world,” she wrote. “Being half Palestinian, it means the world to me to be on the first-ever cover of Vogue Arabia. I hope this magazine will show another layer of the fashion industry’s desire to continue to accept, celebrate and incorporate all people and customs and make everyone feel like they have fashion images and moments they can relate to and grow in doing so.”

This is, of course, not the first time Gigi has spoken of her Palestinian roots openly. About a year ago, she posted a picture of herself with henna on her hands. She captioned it, “And before you go all ‘cultural appropriation,’ check out my last name: Hadid. Half-Palestinian and proud of it!”

The starlet also joined her model sister Bella at a rally against US President Donald Trump’s immigration policies in New York on January 10.
The magazine cover is a hallmark for Gigi as it is her 21st Vogue cover, bringing her closer to the record held by Lauren Hutton, i.e. 26 covers.
