Speakers at a conference on Tuesday stressed on making the younger generation appreciate religious, cultural, and linguistic diversity through education in schools.

The conference brought together academicians, civil society activists, students and parliamentarians for discussing the role of education in dealing with extremism. "Starting with children is one way of getting closer to the goal of culture of peace and non-violence," Asiya Nasir said.
