BOC Pakistan to change its name
BOC Pakistan Limited, a member of The Linde Group, has proposed to change its name to Linde Pakistan Limited.

BOC Pakistan Limited, a member of The Linde Group, has proposed to change its name to Linde Pakistan Limited. The change, decided at a board of directors meeting on Thursday, will be implemented after approval from the registrar and shareholders in the annual general meeting scheduled for April 22, according to a communique sent to the Karachi Stock Exchange.
BOC Pakistan (BOCP) has a portfolio of three businesses — industrial and special gases, healthcare and welding products. The BOC Group Plc UK became a majority shareholder in BOC Pakistan in 2006 and BOC became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Linde AG, Germany.
