Police said three armed men snatched a motorcycle and valuables from a citizen near Paki Haveli in Mustafaabad police jurisdiction.

A police party followed the suspects and stopped them near Khara Bypass. In exchange of fire with police, a dacoit was shot at and injured by one of his accomplices.
He died on way to a local hospital. Two other suspects managed to escape. The suspect was identified as Mudassar alias Mudassari.
