Two Da'ish militants killed in Manghopir raid, police claim
Suspects allegedly involved in murder of DSP Faiz Ali Shigri
KARACHI:
Police claimed on Thursday to have gunned down two 'high profile terrorists' in exchange of fire during a raid conducted after a tip-off in Karachi’s Manghopir area.
Suspects were allegedly involved in a number of terrorist activities, including the murder of DSP Faiz Ali Shigri, SSP West Nasir Aftab told The Express Tribune.
Shigri, posted at airport traffic section, was shot dead by armed assailants in the city's Gulistan-e-Jauhar locality on November 27 last year.

The dead suspects were identified as Saifullah and Hanif. Both of them, police said, were affiliated with Da'ish militant group.
Aftab said a laptop containing hit-list of police and government officers was also recovered from the suspects’ possession.
Meanwhile, police constable Malik Riaz was injured in the encounter.
