Aisamul Haq Qureshi and Rohan Bopanna forced their way past Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi to make it into the quarter-finals at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.
In a tightly-contested match, the Indo-Pak Express came out on top 6-3, 6-4. Aisam and Bopanna broke early, only for their opponents to break back immediately. A string of five back-to-back fault serves gave Paes and Bhupathi a chance to break back once more. However, Aisam and Bopanna dominated the first set 6-3. The pair went on to save off seven more break points in the second set to cling on to their lead, stealing it 6-4.
