A 26-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his house in Sector G-7/3, say police

A 26-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his house in Sector G-7/3, police said on Tuesday.
Officials said that Muhammad Kamil’s family found him hanging from a ceiling fan in their house at around 12:30am on Tuesday.
Inspector Basharat Shah, the investigation officer for the case, said it was a suicide. He added that they did not carry out a medical examination of the body to ascertain the cause of his death upon the family’s request.
“The family told us that he was suffering from mental stress,” the inspector said. He added that Kamil was a married man and living with his brother in a government provided residence.
