Remote schooling AIOU announces admissions for overseas Pakistanis

Hopefuls can avail courses in Middle Eastern countries

In order to reach Pakistanis living overseas, particularly in the Middle East, the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has prepared a plan to provide educational facilities online.

The plan includes providing study material and arranging examination facilities in their respective countries, a statement from the varsity read. The AIOU also announced its admission-schedule for overseas Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Oman and Bahrain.

Pakistanis based in these countries can submit their admissions forms along with the prescribed fee in foreign currency by March 6. The programmes being offered in the spring semester session includes Basic Arabic, Arabic Bol Chall, secondary school certificate (Matric), higher secondary school certificate(FA), bachelors and short-term courses. Admission forms and prospectus for these programmes can be downloaded from the university’s website http://del.aiou.edu.pk.
