Deputy commissioner paid surprise visit to centre and found Waqas Manzoor’s performance wasn't up to the mark

BAHAWALPUR: An employee of land record centre has been transferred over poor performance in Bahawalpur on Thursday. The action was taken by Bahawalpur Deputy Commissioner Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal.

Officials said the deputy commissioner paid surprise visit to land record centre and found that employee Waqas Manzoor’s performance was not up to the mark.

He immediately issued his transfer orders and directed him to report to the headquarters. On the occasion, Saleem Afzal inspected various facilities at the land record computerisation centre which included token system, complaint centre, facilitation counters and computer centre.

On the occasion, he also admonished Land Record Center Incharge Muhammad Rafiq for his negligence in facilitating the visitors.

He said “Special counters for females and fully operational counters at land record centre along with high level of cleanliness and tidiness should be ensured by mobilising all available resources.”
