Real estate sector: ICCI calls for resolving issues
Malik said that the business of thousands was associated with the real estate sector
ISLAMABAD:
Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) President Khalid Iqbal Malik called for resolving issues facing the real estate sector after imposition of “new tax duties”. He was of the view that the real estate sector was playing an important role in the economic development of the country. Addressing a delegation of Islamabad Estate Agents Association (IEAA), he urged the government to look into the issues of realtors to facilitate the growth of this important sector. Malik said that the business of thousands was associated with the real estate sector and the imposition of new taxes along with the new property valuation method was pushing the sector into a slump. Also speaking on the occasion, IEAA President Rana Muhammad Arshad highlighted various issues being faced by real estate sector business community.
