Deepika Padukone is on a roll! After her successful debut with none other than Vin Diesel in xXx: Return of Xander's Cage, rumour has it that the Bajirao Mastani actor is all set to star in yet another international project.

According to The Indian Express, the Bang Bang director Siddharth Anand's upcoming venture is an Indo-Chinese project and the latest buzz is that Deepika is being considered to play the female lead!

Discussing the production, Siddharth stated, “Yes, it’s a cross-cultural romance set in Beijing. I’m excited to explore and showcase another culture through this film. Our Chinese producers have suggested Deng Chao’s name but we will take a final call when I visit China myself.”

Siddharth also added, “The film will have an A-list actress who already has an international presence, so it could possibly be one of them.” Makes us wonder who it might be?

According the latest reports, Deepika has beaten Priyanka Chopra in the race and has bagged Siddharth's movie as her second international project.

Is a 'cold war' brewing between Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra?

Deepika was also spotted attending the Michael Kors New York Fashion Show. Clad in a navy dress, with minimal make-up, Deepika looked mesmerising and a half.

Have a look here:

While Priyanka is busy with her American TV series, Quantico and her debut Hollywood movie, Baywatch, starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, Deepika, is currently busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming project, Padmavati, which stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
