115 Pakistanis return from Japan
Those returning say that the Pakistani embassy in Japan did not help them in the aftermath of the quake.
ISLAMABAD:
A PIA flight carrying more than 115 Pakistanis from Japan arrived in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media at the airport, they said their homes and businesses have been destroyed in Friday's earthquake.
They said the Pakistani embassy in Japan did not help them in the aftermath of the earthquake and the tsunami, adding that 18 thousand Pakistanis were still stranded in different parts of Japan.
On Friday, Japan was rocked by a deadly earthquake which triggered a tsunami and caused massive devastation. An explosion at the ageing Fukushima No. 1 atomic plant blew apart the building housing one of its reactors Saturday, explosions continued on Monday as Japan battled against a nuclear meltdown.
Authorities fear the death toll from the disaster in Japan may top 13,000.
