The Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHBA) held a meeting on Tuesday to condemn the blast at a protest by the chemists which left 15 people dead and dozens injured.
The Lahore Bar Association (LBA) also observed a complete strike at district courts. Lawyers did not appear before courts to attend case proceedings. The association will observe a ‘black day’ on Wednesday (today).
They blamed the law-enforcement agencies as well as the rulers who, they alleged, were busy in looting money rather than devising a comprehensive policy to weed out terrorism.
LHCBA President Rana Zia Abdur Rehman said the government had been issued with terror alerts three times but no concrete measures were taken to stop terrorists.
