Capacity building: Consultative workshop held for rescue officials

Basic purpose of the workshop was to educate officials about new initiatives of the Punjab Emergency Service

LAHORE: The quality of the emergency services cannot be ensured if the district control room is not functioning properly, said Punjab Emergency Service Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer.

He was speaking at a day-long consultative workshop organised on Monday at the Emergency Services Academy. All heads of districts control rooms attended the workshop.

Dr Rizwan asked officials to ensure quality and standards of the service.

The basic purpose of the workshop was to educate officials about new initiatives of the Punjab Emergency Service while highlighting the importance of control rooms for effective monitoring and functioning of Patient Transfer Service, Motorbike Ambulance Service, Trauma Registry Mechanism, Vehicle Tracking Software & Repairing, Citizen Feedback Model, Information Technology & Communication Equipment.
