GTA Islamabad: Cop injured in gunfight

Official foiled an attempt to take two stolen vehicles out of the city

ISLAMABAD: A constable of Islamabad police was injured in exchange of fire with car thieves, foiling an attempt to take two stolen vehicles out of the city, a police official said. The ACLC as alerted about car thieves trying to remove trackers from two stolen cars on IJP Road. The  team raided the location and demanded  the thieves  surrender. However the bandits fired at police. The ACLC squad returned fire forcing the criminals to flee. However, Constable Fahad Ali was injured in the shootout.
