KARACHI:
The KESC joint action committee threatened the administration of a complete blackout in Karachi, if the 294 sacked employees of KESC are not reinstated on Friday.
The sacked employees held a protest demonstration in front of State Life Building in Karachi in this regard.
They warned to shut down all grid stations. The employees said they will also demand the government to reverse KESC's privitisation.
The Karachi Electric Supply Corporation dismissed the 294 employees on charges of misconduct and poor performance last month.
