Opposing FATA reforms: Fazl, Achakzai acting like Mir Sadiq, Mir Jafar: PTI
The only viable solution to problems faced by tribesmen is FATA’s merger with K-P
PESHAWAR:
Accusing Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Mehmood Khan Achakzai of opposing FATA reforms, especially the proposal to merge Federally-Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said on Wednesday that they were playing the roles of Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq.
Blaming Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for delaying the merger process, PTI leaders said that the only viable solution to problems faced by tribesmen was FATA’s merger with K-P.
Addressing a news conference at the Peshawar Press Club Wednesday, PTI leaders condemned the Frontier Crime Regulation (FCR) and said that it was a black law, which deprived tribesmen of their basic rights.
“Only anti-Pakistan elements are agitating against FATA’s merger with the province.” President of the Fata Olympics Association Shahid Hussain Shinwari.
