KARACHI:
PTI Chairman Imran Khan, accusing the Sindh government of failing to provide basic amenities to the people of the province, Karachi in particular, has threatened to come out on the roads on the issue of water crisis in the provincial metropolis.

“A large population of the city has not been getting water and the government is not serious in resolving public issues, instead it has been busy doing corruption,” he said while speaking to the media in Gulistan-e-Jauhar’s Safoor Goth on Tuesday.

Imran is on a two-day visit to the port city. He also condoled with the sons of the late Maulana Saleem Ullah Khan at Darul Uloom Farooqia.

“It is because of corruption that the inhabitants of this city are not receiving water,” he said and added, “In rural and urban Sindh, they (the PTI) will soon start a campaign against corruption.”

“As soon as I get free from the Panama case I will again come to Karachi,” the PTI chief said.
