Up In Flames: Fire breaks out in warehouse
Firefighters faced difficulties to extinguish the fire as the area is congested

A warehouse was gutted in a fire in SITE Monday evening. Fire trucks reached the area immediately. According to the fire brigade spokesperson, initially two fire tenders were rushed to the site, however, nine more fire tenders were later dispatched with three water bowsers. The spokesperson said that the firefighters faced difficulties to extinguish the fire as the area is congested, however, they managed to eventually extinguish the fire after breaking walls of the warehouse. The spokesperson added that the cause of the fire has yet to be ascertained. The police officials claimed that the fire apparently broke out by accident.
