They announced to hold a meeting of their supreme council of leaders on February 9 to discuss the matter further
ISLAMABAD:
Leaders of Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) on Saturday censured the government for its recent clampdown against Jamaatud Dawah (JuD) and its leaders, including Hafiz Saeed.
They announced to hold a meeting of their supreme council of leaders on February 9 to discuss the matter further.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Saturday, DPC chairman Maulana Samiul Haq said that the government was in a way disowning Kashmir cause by imposing these restrictions and demanded that if there was any evidence against JUD, it should be brought forward.
Haq also called the timing of these measures ‘unfortunate’.
