Obviously, generosity is a virtue. However, at the moment it could also get you in trouble. The issue isn’t being generous but, rather, during this unsettled period either the nature of your offer or the actual details of the arrangement could be misunderstood. Wait a few days and you’ll avoid this chaos.

Be wary of offering others advice and, even more, saying you’ll give them a hand. Straightforward as the situation in question seems, it’s not. You’re unaware of recent changes in the background. These aren’t just important, they could have a substantial influence on the situation. The less involved you are, the better.

While you’re an expert at dealing with differences of opinion, if not out and out clashes, diplomatically, you’re less adept at forthright confrontations.
