Out early: AIOU announces matric results
As per the VC’s directives, results for the BA programmes are expected to be declared in the middle of next month
ISLAMABAD:
The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Monday declared the final results of its matriculation programme for the 2016 spring semester. The results have been placed on AIOU’s website.
According to the AIOU Controller of Exams, results are also being dispatched to the students by post to their addresses, a news release said on Monday.
On the directions of AIOU Vice- Chancellor Professor Dr Shahid Siddiqui, the process of announcing results has been expedited in other programmes as well with the result of FA is expected to be announced in the first week of February.
As per the VC’s directives, results for the BA programmes are expected to be declared in the middle of next month, enabling students to continue their higher studies.
“We are the pioneers in offering this programme, one and half year-duration, after the HECs decision of phasing out one-year B.Ed, PTC AND CT programme,” said Prof Dr Siddiqui said.
