The Lahore Transport Company (LTC) has decided to ensure compliance with wearing uniform for drivers and fare collectors working for private transporters.
Being the regulator, the LTC has issued instructions to all private transport operators plying public service vehicles on designated city routes under its jurisdiction to comply with regulations.
New buses may start plying next month in Lahore
The rules state drivers and fare collectors should wear uniform and badge showing their name for recognition. The company has also warned transport operator that it would take stern action if they fail to ensure compliance given under the law.
