Gang busted: Two bike-stealing gangsters nabbed
Police managed to apprehend two alleged gang members, identified as Shakil and Ishtiaq, in Makhan Colony

Haripur police Sunday claimed to have busted a gang of alleged motorcycle thieves and have recovered nine bikes from their possession.
Following several complaints from residents stealing motorbikes in the area, police had launched an investigation with a team led by SHO City Sabir Khan and comprising Inspector Investigation Iqbal Hussain Shah, as well as the staff of the criminal investigation wing.
They managed to trace suspected members of a bike stealing gang and raided the suspected hideouts of four gang members on Saturday night. Police managed to apprehend two alleged gang members, identified as Shakil and Ishtiaq, in Makhan Colony.
However, two other accused identified as Essa and Mazhar managed to escape during the raid, a police spokesperson said. The suspects were produced before a judicial magistrate who approved their one-day physical remand.
