Stage Play: Theatre to promote Hindko
The drama will feature well-known Hindko artist Waqar Fani

In a bid to promote the Hindko language in the region, a local theatre group is aiming to present a Hindko stage drama early next month. “Lok kay akhsun” (What people would say) will be staged at the at the Jalal Baba auditorium on Febuary 4 by the Suneha Theatre group, said Amjad Khan, the organiser of the programme said on Thursday. The drama will feature well-known Hindko artist Waqar Fani. The play has been written and directed by Tehsin Javed and would be presented with support from the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Directorate of Culture. According to the organizer, the drama aims to highlight different social problems in the area in addition to promoting entertainment in the local language.
