Jumping Off Roof: Newlywed commits suicide

A newlywed man committed suicide by jumping off the roof of his house in Abbottabad, police and family said on Thursday. Cantonment police said that 28-year-old Nadeem Ahmed, a resident of Khola Kehal, had married his cousin just two months ago. On Wednesday evening he visited his maternal uncle where he reportedly had an altercation with his wife and her parents. Then, in an apparent fit of rage he went up to the roof of the house, located on the second floor, and jumped off. He suffered head injuries and was rushed to the Ayub Teaching Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
