A day-long national symposium on themes was held at AIOU to promote awareness about the recent advancements in key-research areas of biological importance, relating to environment and health issues. The symposium had been organised by AIOU’s biology and environmental science department was addressed by the representatives of various universities and research-related departments including Institute of Bio Medical and Genetics Engineering, PARC, National University of Science and Technology and Quaid-e-Azam University.
