Karachi operation to continue unabated, says army chief
“Army is what its soldiers are,” the military’s media wing ISPR quoted the army chief as saying.
Gen Qamar also laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada in memory of the slain soldiers.
The chief of army staff said that the Pakistan Army’s experience with counter-terrorism has made it battle hardened. He also praised soldiers for being prepared to thwart challenges of a conventional war.
Meanwhile, the soldiers interacted with Gen Qamar and expressed their passion to serve the country and fight the enemies when required.
