‘Arrest warrants sent to British Foreign Office’
Pakistan High Commission in London confirms receiving arrest warrants. Action to be decided by British Foreign Office.

The Pakistan High Commission in London confirmed on Wednesday receiving arrest warrants for former president Pervez Musharraf in the Benazir Bhutto murder case.
Speaking to Express 24/7 Wajid Shamsul Hasan, the high commissioner in London, said that the warrants were received on Sunday evening. He said the warrants had been forwarded to the British Foreign Office and it was now up to British authorities. Pakistan does not have an extradition treaty with the United Kingdom.
The high commissioner said that according to media reports, Musharraf is currently in Dubai. Earlier, an Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Musharraf for the third time. Musharraf has already been declared a proclaimed offender by the same court twice.
