Extended services: MRI facility at LGH till midnight
Prof Ghiyas said the LGH was the first hospital in public sector to introduce this facility for extended hours

The management of Lahore General Hospital (LGH) has started the facility of MRI tests during night hours for the first time and now patients will be able get diagnosis done through this machine till midnight. Lahore General Hospital’s and Postgraduate Medical Institute Principal Prof Ghiyasunnabi Tayyab said this facility would be useful for poor and deserving patients, who could avoid the costly private lab charges. Government employees would also be a major beneficiary of this initiative as they are busy during daytime in their official duties. Prof Ghiyas said the LGH was the first hospital in public sector to introduce this facility for extended hours. The principal along with LGH Medical Superintendent Dr Ghulam Sabir inspected the radiology department.
