Sinful: Mosque’s donation box stolen
The police have registered a case and are investigating the theft

In a surprising development, someone had stolen the donation box installed at a local mosque in the capital. According to the police, Muhammad Arzam lodged a complaint with the Karachi Company police on January 12 stating that Muhammad Asad and Abdul Qadir had allegedly stolen the donation box from a mosque in the G-9/2 area. Arzam, who said he was a witness to the crime – which took place on January 11 - said that the box contained thousands of rupees which people had donated after coming to the mosque to offer prayers. The police have registered a case and are investigating the theft.
