LAHORE: Two sisters were shot dead allegedly by their brother over a property dispute in Baghbanpura on Thursday.

Police said Noreen, 17, and Ayesha, 20, residents of Riaz Ahmed Road, were found in a pool of blood when a neighbour came to visit their home in the evening.

Police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to a hospital for an autopsy.

The neighbours told police three brothers and two sisters lived in the house and three of the siblings, including a sister, were mentally unstable.

The elder brother, Aqeel, wanted to sell an inherited property after the death of their parents but one of the sisters objected and people in the neighbourhood suspected that the brother may be involved on the murder.
