MULTAN: A man killed his wife over a property dispute in Multan Friday night, according to local police.

Samia Mai, resident of Mauza Bait Qaim Wala, was married to Abdul Ghafoor a year ago.

Ghafoor, 30, gave 20 marlas of land to his wife Samia, 25, at the time of marriage as a married gift. Mai was legal owner of the property as land was transferred on her name.

However, he informed the chairman of union council, Baitwala, that his wife had attempted suicide.
