MULTAN: The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) issued a schedule of the 12th Cholistan Desert Jeep Rally on Friday.
According to the schedule, registration of vehicles, technical inspection and medical test of drivers and navigators would be held on February 9.
The race of stock category vehicles will start from the Fort Derawar at 8am on February 10.
The first round of race of prepaid vehicles will start from the Fort Derawar on February 11 while the final round would be held on February 12.
The announcement of position holders and a prize distribution ceremony would be held on the same night at 8pm near the fort Derawar.
The purpose to hold this event in the heart of Cholistan desert is to show the outside world the region’s history and rich culture and open this area as a winter tourist destination. The event is annually held at the venue and was first introduced in 2005.
