He ordered EDO finance to investigate and sought a report for not giving the two-month scholarship amounting to Rs40 million for boys and Rs68 million to girls. DCO Ali Akbar also instructed the officials to improve the sanitation system of 11 educational institutions and sought an inquiry report over minimum attendance of students and teachers in schools.
On the occasion, he said the importance of civil defence cannot be denied so it was necessary for men and women of every age to get training in this regard.
