The 36-year-old scored a stunning 81 off just 54 balls, which included six fours and two massive sixes.
For Heat, right-arm pacer Mark Steketee and leg-spinner Mitchell Swepson picked two wickets each.
Chasing 157 to win, the hosts clearly missed their star man Chris Lynn, who is on national duty after being picked for the Australian ODI side for the upcoming five-match series against Pakistan.
