Irregular appointments: Two-member probe committee formed
The committee has been tasked to submit its report within 25 days

Taking notice over bogus recruitments in made in the Local Government and Rural Development (LG&RD) department, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government on Tuesday formed a two-member committee to probe the matter. According to officials, the government has appointed Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Director General Raja Razzaq as head of the inquiry committee, while Rules Services and General Administration (SGAD) Additional Secretary Rashid Hanif would be the other member of the committee. The committee has been tasked to submit its report within 25 days. The LGRD department hired extra sub-engineers in March 2016. The story was published in The Express Tribune on January 3, 2017.
