Counterterrorism Department (CTD) on Monday obtained a seven-day physical remand of a man arrested with explosive material on Sunday evening.
Anti-Terrorism Court Special Judge Rai Muhammad Ayub Khan Marth handed Saeed Gul, 22, from Mohmand Agency, to CTD officials for seven days.
The CTD officials stated before the court that they wanted to interrogate Saeed to learn about his other accomplices.
CTD officials arrested Saeed, said to be active TTP member, from Soan Bus Terminal and recovered explosive material, four detonators, safety fuses, wires, and ball bearings from his possession.
The arrested man was suspected to have been planning to target an intelligence agency building in Rawalpindi. He is said to have been living in Hassanabdal for last few months.
