Confidence building : Police team visits school
The students were informed about various traffic rules and safety tips while driving or moving on roads
ISLAMABAD:
A team of Islamabad police on Thursday visited Model College for Boys F-7/3 and briefed the students about functioning of various police wings. The visit was part of Police-Public Relation and Cooperation Development programme was initiated by Islamabad IG Tariq Masood Yasin. The programme was meant to enhance public confidence on police and allay fears related to the department. SP Zubair Ahmed Sheikh along with officials of Police Commandos, Special Branch, Bomb Disposal Squad, police band, traffic police and Rescue 15. SP Sheikh briefed the students and teachers about routine police affairs and functioning of various wings of police department. The students were informed about various traffic rules and safety tips while driving or moving on roads.
