Screening of police personnel was being conducted to diagnose diseases
LAHORE:
A two-day blood donation camp was organised at Qurban Lines on Thursday. SP Mujahid Syed Karar Hussain said the camp was organised for two reasons; blood screening of officials to diagnose infections or diseases and blood donations for thalassemia patients, particularly children.
He said the screening of police personnel was being conducted to diagnose diseases such as hepatitis A, B, C, malaria, HIV or any other infections.
The SP asked police officials to donate blood to save lives as it was a noble act and a healthy activity.
