I'm a very private person, Deepika Padukone says

Bajirao Mastani star also speaks about the evolution of Indian cinema

Deepika Padukone, who is nervous yet excited about her Hollywood debut xXx: Return of Xander Cage, has gotten candid about her Hollywood journey.

"I was anxious before I left to start filming. But I wanted to move out of my comfort zone and start over," she told Pinkvilla.



The Bajirao Mastani actor also delved into the evolution of Indian cinema over time. "The content of the job was exactly the same in both countries. That says a lot about how much Indian cinema has evolved," she said.



The star also revealed that she was a very private person saying, "I think my fans understand that I am a very private person and I like to keep a lot of things to myself. I connect with them over work and about my projects but I don't feel the need to share every detail of my life. Who really cares what I had for breakfast or what I am wearing today?"



With a global fan following, striking looks and superlative acting skills, looks like Deepika could not have asked for more as she marks her 31st birthday today.
