Revamp: 600 historic buildings to be renovated   

Renovation of ancient buildings will increase tourism

MULTAN: More than 600 historic buildings of Multan will be painted under’Rung Do Multan’. The project kicked off after directives form the Multan Deputy Commissioner Nadir Chatta. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Chattha has said all the buildings surrounding Damdama, the ancient point of Fort Qasim, Multan, would be painted with beautiful colors under the walled city project. He said that renovation of ancient buildings would increase tourism. He said he wanted to provide maximum relief to the people of the province during his tenure. He added the district government was working day and night for the completion of this project. He said a new system of local government would help resolve the issues of the pubic in the minimum possible time. The DC said that after the establishment of local institutions, district administration and local representatives would work in collaboration.
