One piece three ways: Nauman Arfeen
In this feature we have three fashionistas showing us how to put together an item from a designers collection
While trends fade, style remains eternal and one piece can be put together in many different ways. In this feature we have three fashionistas showing us how to put together an item from a designers collection, according to their own individual style and taste!
Nauman Arfeen showcased his new collection ‘Pukaar’ at Fashion Pakistan Week (FPW), Winter Festive 2016. Inspired by the Mughals, ‘Pukaar’ is a collection that pleads the audience to break away from the hardships of life, and instead give love a chance, spreading peace and harmony along the way. To elicit such feelings, Arfeen used children as models for his finale at FPW 2016, leaving the audience in nothing but smiles. We do the same for this week’s One Piece, Three Ways. Arfeen’s piece is a soft green sherwani that varies in length for all three looks. Ahmed’s ensemble is a knee length top with straight black pants. For Zain’s look, Arfeen keeps the sherwani longer with a gold pajama and a matching turban. Mikael’s look uses a gold patyala shalwar, which gives the silhouette a traditional and ethnic vibe. How cute do these little models look?
