Power supply to Shikarpur and other cities was restored Monday morning after 30 hours of blackout. Power supply to Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore-Kandhkot and adjoining areas was disrupted early Sunday morning due to tripping of a high-tension line of Guddu Power Plant, claimed officials of Sukkur Electric Power Company (Sepco). The personal staff officer of Sepco, Karim Bux Soomro, was not available for his comments.
