Raja Riaz slams CM Punjab

Opposition leader in Punjab assembly says one man show will not be tolerated.

Express March 05, 2011

LAHORE:

Raja Riaz, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) parliamentary leader in the Punjab Assembly, on Saturday slammed the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif saying that a one man show will not be tolerated.

Riaz was speaking outside the Punjab assembly.

The former senior PPP minister said that the Punjab Government has become the government of sit-ins.

He further added that the Punjab CM will only get his support if he gives up the politics of turn-coats.

Raja Riaz also said that the chief minister seldom showed up in Punjab Assembly sessions and indulged in luxuries. Riaz then asked Shahbaz Sharif to appear before the Punjab Assembly session and give accountability of his actions.

Earlier last week, Riaz had come out harsh against the chief minister saying that the only difference between former president Pervez Musharraf and the 'dictatorial' chief minister is the army uniform.
