PESHAWAR:
Peshawar police have been rewarded with a new police station after Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police Nasir Khan Durrani raised the status of the police post (PP) Inqilab to a full-fledged police station. As stated in a police statement, this will raise the number of police stations in Peshawar to 31. The order was issued after a detailed analysis. The capital city police had requested the IGP and the proposal was thoroughly deliberated upon in the Police Policy Board (PPB) meeting where it was discussed that the increasing workload and security situation in the area is making it difficult for police station Badabher office to attend to properly.
