Going global: IBA hosts international conference
A total of 35 high-quality research papers on various aspects of marketing were presented
KARACHI:
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) organised the third International Conference on Marketing (IBAICM, 2016) at the campus of the University of Malaya (UM) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The conference sessions and discussion were organised on the theme of ‘Marketing to the Bottom of the Pyramid in Emerging Markets’. IBAICM aims to develop the marketing landscape in Pakistan by bridging the gap between research and practice. A total of 35 high-quality research papers on various aspects of marketing were presented and the Best Paper Award was secured by Regina Yan Ginny and Dr Yusniza Kamarulzaman for their paper titled ‘Moving towards Sustainable Consumption: A Study of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle (3Rs) Adoption Among Malaysians’. During the conference, distinguished academics from leading international universities graced the conference with their deep insightful keynote sessions. Academics from Canada, Turkey, Dubai, Pakistan, Malaysia, China and Saudi Arabia presented their research papers.
